HIS STORY

18 Years In The Making

Trey’s story started with curiosity—and a sweet tooth. Candy was his first word, and sour candy is still a favorite. Over the years, that same curiosity turned into a love for baseball stats, fish species, weather patterns, and anything worth understanding deeply.

A PLACE THAT MATTERS

Saddle Back Lake Nights

Some of Trey’s best memories were made right in the backyard. He loves fishing on Saddleback Lake, but the nights there are just as unforgettable.

As the sun drops lower and the sky turns gold, friends gather by the water, the bonfire starts to glow, and someone always ends up making s’mores. The warmth of the fire, the sound of laughter, and the view across the lake make those evenings feel complete.

They are the kind of nights that become part of you—the kind you carry with you when home starts to feel farther away.

PASSIONS

What Trey Loves

Baseball & Sports

Trey is a lifelong Rays fan who knows stats the way some people know song lyrics. He played baseball through Little League and still brings that same competitive spirit to everything he does.

His dad helped instill that love of the game early on—showing up for every game, collecting and trading baseball cards, and sharing pretzels and hot dogs at the stadium.

Cars & Trucks

Trey has always loved cars—especially the kind that turn heads and tell a story. He appreciates classics, muscle cars, and anything with style. (We happen to think he gets that from his Mom.)

He currently drives a black Nissan XTerra, though he’ll be leaving it behind for his younger sister when he heads off to college, a fact she may be more excited about than he is.

Fish & Aquariums

Trey’s love of fish began when he was just barely five years old and somehow turned into a full-scale aquatic operation over the years. He has kept many aquariums, from exotic bettas and guppies to carefully designed tanks that introduced him to the art of aquascaping.

He knows far more about water conditions than most people ever plan to.

FAMILY AND HOME

The People Who Love Him

Trey’s story begins at home—with the people who have been there for him every step of the way.

His dad helped instill his love of the game early on, showing up for every Little League game and sharing in the moments that made it special. From collecting and trading baseball cards to sitting side by side at the stadium—eating pretzels and hot dogs and talking stats—their shared love of sports became something deeper. It became time together, something that shaped who Trey is today.

His mom has been there through it all—watching every stage of his life unfold. She is proud of the man he has grown into, and while this next chapter is exciting, she knows she’s going to miss him deeply.

Trey’s grandparents were part of it all too—never missing a game, always cheering from the stands, and making those years even sweeter with Grandma’s chocolate chip cookies waiting afterward—his favorite.

At home, Trey grew up alongside his sisters, Katy and Weather. Katy has always been part of his foundation, while Weather, his little sister, has been by his side since the very beginning. If Trey did something, she wanted to do it too—following him, learning from him, and sharing in his world.

That kind of bond doesn’t fade easily.

As Trey heads off to college, it won’t just be him stepping into something new—his whole family will feel it. Weather will miss him, and he will miss her just as much.

And while Abby the cat and the dogs will definitely be part of what he leaves behind, he may miss the dogs a little more than their barking.

Friends & Relationships

I'M NOT CRYING... YOU'RE CRYING

The people he’ll miss

Trey is a super loyal friend, and that loyalty shows in the people closest to him. He will miss his friends Cooper and Cade, and the ordinary moments that made high school meaningful.

He’ll also greatly miss his girlfriend of two years, Izzy, as they head to different schools—Trey to Florida State University and Izzy to UF.

Those friendships, lake nights, and familiar routines are part of what made this season of life so special.

And are one of the reasons that he’ll be back…

NEXT CHAPTER

Florida State University

Trey plans to study data science and meteorology, and he is leaning more toward meteorology. He is drawn to the analytical side of the field rather than broadcast and may eventually work in the private sector or even for a professional sports franchise.

Whatever direction he chooses, one thing feels certain: he’ll figure it out, and he’ll be good at it.

Academic interests: data science, meteorology

Possible path: private sector or team franchise

Strengths: focus, loyalty, leadership, follow-through
